About the Kingdom of Vistaria

The Kingdom of Vistaria is a self-declared state. We consist of one constituent nation:

• Vistaria-proper (bordering Poland)

We were founded on November 1, 2025 at a ceremony in Kraków, Poland. We became a Kingdom on September 15, 2026.

There is also one nation in free association with Vistaria:

• Commonwealth of Lorc'h

Government

The Kingdom of Vistaria is a constitutional monarchy with the ‘Kora’ as the head of state. The current Kora is Willow of Vistaria and Lorc’h.

The Royal Council acts as the Kingdom’s government and legislature, headed by the Kora and consisting of others appointed to it. It is responsible for various matters including citizenship, foreign affairs, defence, the Koruship and more.

Individual constituent nations have their own governments, including legislatures, and are responsible for local government, education, healthcare, culture, planning and more.

Law

The Constitution is the supreme law of the Kingdom, with Orders of the Royal Council (Royal Orders) becoming law across the Kingdom (unless limited in scope).

The Royal Court settles legal disputes, judges crimes and administers justice across the Kingdom.

Individual constituent nations can have their own laws and judiciaries, though the Constitution of the Kingdom and Royal Orders supersede these.

Legal status

The Kingdom is a ‘self-declared state’ that is not recognised by any United Nations member. To outside observers, we are considered to be a ‘micronation’, though we avoid the term.
